Amidst a discography littered with tracks outlining philosophies by which to live one's life, this songs message stands above all others. In my teen years, I needed songs like Freewill and Anthem, but in my thirties, The Garden lays out all I need to know.

Such a gorgeous song! Some of the Neil's best lyrics too, I might add. Since it's looking like Rush will never release another album, this is as fitting a song as any to send the band off on. It's the measure of a life, and the measure of a phenomenal band. Love this band!

If this is the song to close Rush's career, I will be perfectly happy. This is maybe one of the most beautiful songs they have ever written, so heartfelt and pure, it gives me goosebumps. (3) Exactly. If Clockwork Angels is to be the last Rush record with this song as the closing one, I don't think we can imagine a more beautiful way of saying goodbye to music by this extraordinary band.

Rush's Stairway to Heaven (3)... Verse sounds me to "The Sphere" from Hemispheres.

Amazing closer, brings me to tears every time. Such a beautiful chorus that sums up the concept album perfectly.

I've listened to song about 100 times (before I started here) and still every single time it gives me shivers; Alex's guitar solo alone does. No other song out of the thousands I've heard does that. Rush's masterpiece which is saying an awful lot.

I can't decide between this or Headlong Flight. Regardless, this is the most beautiful song I have ever had the pleasure of listening to; definitely one of the better songs they have ever written in the past couple of decades. I am honestly impressed by this song every single time I hear it. I really like the diverse structure to it and how they combined technical complexity with a pleasant melodic flow. I do think that the lyrics are overrated though, they're neither tightly written nor very interesting.

this is the best RUSH ballad ever, and they don't have many of those, but i could have sworn they would never top "Tears" well the impossible just got done. RUSH4LIFE.

This is probably is my favorite song of the Clockwork Angels CD. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite RUSH songs.
