Ruud Houweling is a Dutch singer, guitarist, songwriter and composer based in the coastal town of Zandvoort, The Netherlands.
He released four albums with his band Cloudmachine (1998-2014) before focusing entirely on his solo career. His début long player, Erasing Mountains, came out in early 2017. February 2019 saw the release of The Wind Just Blew A Day Away, an EP containing five re-imagined versions of Cloudmachine songs.
Houweling also writes and produces music for Dutch television (including the soundtracks for documentary TV series such as 'The New York Connection' and 'De Gouden Eeuw') and occassionally, other artists: for instance, he wrote the song 'My Little Phoenix' for Tarja.
