Collection One is the first and long-awaited album from SAINt JHN, after not dropping any larger project since his mixtapes back in 2010-2011, In Association and The St. JohnPortfolio. After releasing the first single in a while, “1999,” on Soundcloud back in June 2016, JHN started getting attention from fans. From there, he released smash hit singles “Roses” and “Reflex,” placing him on the map and prompting an album release.
Talks of an album release wouldn’t appear until October of 2017. JHN explained he would be dropping his first “Collection” in January of 2018 in an interview with Fuse. Nothing dropped in January, and JHN didn’t address it. Things took speed suddenly when JHN dropped “I Heard You Got Too Litt Last Night” without warning and told Pigeons & Planes that the album would be dropping on March 9th.
