SK Radicals were formed in Sean khan's kitchen 6 years ago. The band consists of Sean Khan (saxophone, keys, vocals and production), Jacob Eggay (vocals), Susan Allotey (vocals) and Derek McKintyre (bass). Individual members of the band have worked and played with a number of artists ranging from Jamiroqui, Roy Aryes, Jazz Crusaders, Lisa Stansfield to Clifford Jarvis (John Coltrane), John Stevens, Bugz in the Attic, Recloose and very seriously Boney M.

The first single, Reachin 4 Da Farside, was released in 2001 and quickly became a 'cult classic' (Adrian Gibson, Jazz Cafe magazine), owing to the success of this 12" the band were offered an album deal by People records. The subsequent album, 'When will we belong', was produced by Bugz in the Attic and established the band as a new force on the music scene. Owing to the success of this record the group performed at some of Europe's major jazz festivals. The group also gained 'cult celebrity status', I dont know what that shit means but it was written by some journo.

And so to the present, after enduring many ups and downs over the ensuing years the band has come back with a new record 'Urban Ecletiks'. The first single, 'Troubled Times' with a remix from Bugz in the Attic, will be released by the forward looking Groovement record label. This will be followed by 'Is this love 4 Real' with a remix from Recloose. This album is an attempt by the band to give their own unique spin on the direction of urban black music.
