Biography
SØS Gunver Ryberg//DK is working in the intersection between electronic music and sound art. Her characteristic style is recognised for its transformative physical power. Insistent rhythms engage the listener on many levels alongside a meticulous exploration of textures and timbres.
She has been invited to perform or exhibit in cities such as Rio de Janerio, Skt. Petersburg, Los Angeles, New York, Istanbul, Berlin and Athens. Recent comissions have included two compositions for The Royal Library multi-channel speaker system in Copenhagen as well as performing a multi channel concert in an old underground water reservoir with a reverberation of 17 seconds.
Her work often mixes forms of musical expressions and new media such as concerts, installation art, multichannel speaker setups, video games, performance/dance art, art films, audio walks etc. She works on her own projects and with other artists on gesamtkunstwerker.
