Biography
SQS Supastars is an Indian Pop Band based in Mumbai. The group consists of Sanam Puri (lead vocals), Samar Puri (lead Guitar and vocals), Venky (Bass Guitar and vocals) and Quesh (Drums and vocals). Brothers, Samar Puri & Sanam Puri moved to Mumbai from Delhi met Quesh in late 2009 through their common friend Venky (who is now a member of the band). They formed a band called 'The SQS Project'. In May 2010, Times music launched a Nationwide Pop band hunt for young Indian talent. Of the thousand of entries auditioned, 'The SQS Project' won the platform to reach out to the nation and the name was then changed to 'SQS Supastars'. The album promised an absolutely fresh sound, something that has never been heard before in Indian pop music. Backed by the top pop labels from Sweden and Denmark which handled the entire mixing and mastering of the album.
