“Anything” follows the previous track “Broken Clocks”, where SZA seemed to decide that ‘still love is still love’. On “Anything”, which samples “Spring Reprise” by Donna Summer, SZA follows this theme of accepting this fling (down for the ride), but still questioning its legitimacy (do you even know I’m alive).
