Saúl Alfonso Hernández Estrada (born January 15, 1964), is the former lead singer, songwriter and guitarist of Caifanes, a famous Mexican rock en español group formed in 1986.
After Caifanes' breakup, Saul Hernández formed a new band in late 1996, called Jaguares alongside with former Caifanes drummer Alfonso André; and two long time friends Federico Fong on the Bass guitar and Jose Manuel Aguilera on the lead guitar. Jose Manuel Aguilera was involved in the Jaguares' first studio album only. Cesar "Vampiro" Lopez later took over on lead guitar and has been in the band since. Since then, Jaguares has consolidated into one of Spanish Rock's premier bands in both critical and commercial success.
