Biography
As a child, Sam Verstraten AKA Sam A La Bamalot, was fed with music by his parents. Started playing guitar at the age of 6, and is unstoppable ever since. He served a while as a bass player in PoepOogPiet and metalband Formula Fiction. But at the moment he's baking sounds in the middle of the woods. Armed with a MPC1000, MicroKorg and a KaossPad he creates futuristic soundwalls with crooked, broken vertebra drum patterns, while suddenly strange vocals shoot through your ears from left to right. "A Bird's Leg" was favourited by Gilles Peterson and played already many times on his Worldwide shows aswell as Benji B, Anthony Valadez & dj Lefto's shows..
