Biography
There are at least five artists going by the name Sana:
1) Sana Minatozaki (Japanese: 湊崎 紗夏, Hepburn: Minatozaki Sana, born December 29, 1996), known mononymously as Sana (Korean: 사나; Japanese: サナ), is a Japanese singer based in South Korea. She is one of three Japanese members of the South Korean girl group TWICE, formed in 2015 by JYP Entertainment.
2) A KONAMI-employed pop artist (新谷さなえ) sings for several games. Most are part of the bemani series, although her work in Zone of the Enders: Anubis is a notable exception. She sings primarily for the Pop’n Music series, and has released several CDs of her vocal tracks from the games.
3) SANA is the ex-guitarist of Japanese rock band MASK. He is currently an indies solo artist and released his first Maxi Single 「一人法師」 in 2006. As of late, he has been performing as part of a session band called TheJEAN. SANA will release a new CD entitled ECLIPSE (SANA SOLO WORKS) on July 22, 2009.
4) A Finnish up and coming female hip-hop artist, whose music is, at the moment, free to download from mikseri.net.
5) The Japanese utaite Sana (鎖那), who is credited as "sana" on her major label releases.
