As lead singer of genre slashing cult band, The Family Stand, Sandra St. Victor helped knock down walls of the expected R&B group norm. The Family Stand bore the cross as did many other black rock groups of trailblazers. Not reaping plentiful, but harvesting in time.
With her two solo sets, "Mack Diva Saves The World" and "Gemini: Both Sides", she continues in this tradition, stretching barriers, turning heads and in general raising a ruckus.
Her latest venture, Daughters of Soul is a labor of pure devotion to the continued validation of true soul & true soul singers.
EXTRAS; Written songs for Prince, Chaka Khan, movie soundtracks, recorded a beautiful duet with late legendary Curtis Mayfield
Originally from Dallas Texas, adopted by Brooklyn NY
