Biography
SaxophoneCheck are a Dutch band from Rotterdam, the Netherlands, though all members have an international background: singer/guitarist Paul de Kuijper is part Spanish, bassist/rapper Julio Pijnappel is from Brazil, saxophonist Fritz Gard is German, drummer Vincent van den Aardweg was born in Britain, and guitarist Mathijs van Onna is fully Dutch.
Their music cannot be categorized as a particular genre, and is characterized by a combination of many genres, including pop, rock, rap, jazz etc. Their first album, "Variaties van Water", is available on a limited distribution scale, but can be downloaded for free from their website.
