History:
The whole project was started in the beginning of 2006 by Markus (Drums) with the help of Ville (Bass)
and Mitja (Vocals). Later Heinz was asked to join the band to play guitar and sing backing vocals.
Sayana was officially born in February 2006.
Almost all of us had the same kind of visions, but the abyss of musical differences was too deep for
Mitja, so he left the band. Heinz took the place of lead singer, but also continued to play the guitar.
The need for a lead guitarist was absolute. After few months of searching, Sayana finally found one.
"We started to write music from the beginning for two guitars and after a while a good guitarist Jani
suddenly contacted us via email. We asked him to come and try out… and now we have a new member in
Sayana."
Sayana in one sentence:
Something very aggressive… like all the hatred inside of us, but when it comes out through our hands and lyrics
we plant the seed of beautiful silence inside it.
