Biography

Scat Opera (1990-1993)

Scat Opera were a four piece band from London, United Kingdom, during the early to mid 90’s and were signed to the Music for Nations label, on which they released their second album Fourgone Confusion in 1992. Scat Opera’s dynamic style was similar to Atom Seed and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Members were: Ernie Brennen, Mark Diment, Steve Yeates and the former Bassest from Leicester’s Rev Head John O’Reilly, who replaced founder member Michael Forry in 1991. After the band split, John later moved back to Leicestershire to co-found DEADLINE with ex METEOR Austin stones thenFudge during the late 1990’s.
