Biography
Quote from jhimm – “Scissorkiss was a Boston-based trio which attempted to bring together the disparate worlds of metal, EBM, darkwave, synthpop and industrial. Following in the large footsteps of such groups as Nine Inch Nails and Curve while predicting the arrival of new-comers such as Evanescence, Scissorkiss was fronted by passionate female vocals, braced by blistering guitars, and backed by infectious beats drawn from hip-hop, house, techno and synthpop.
Between 1998-2004, Scissorkiss was Liz Nickrenz [Rachael's.Surrender] aka Liz Amadea Nickrenz – vocals; Mathew Fuller [Seven Sunless Days] – guitar, programming; and jhimm [(lisp)] – vocals, guitar, programming.
During that time, Scissorkiss recorded and released three CD's: I Want to Believe (2001); Where's My Silver Love? (2003); The Ties That Bind (2004).
Amadea went on to pursue an academic career and perform in the project "Rachael's.Surrender, jhimm went on to form (lisp) and Mathew went on to form Seven Sunless Days.
This was my band, I think I'd know :) ” – jhimm, 27 Mar 2007
