Scone Cash Players is a Miami-based group that is led by Hammond organ legend Adam Scone. The group is known for their unique blend of funk, soul, and jazz music. Scone's organ acts as the lead singer, and his bandmates serve up a cosmic choir of funky, genre-bending music. The group has released four full-length albums, and they have toured extensively throughout South America, Europe, and the United States.
Scone is originally from Ohio, and he has been living in New York City for 20 years. He is a veteran of the organ tradition, and he has played in a variety of musical settings. He has accompanied jazz/boogaloo legend Lou Donaldson at the Village Vanguard and the Blue Note. He has also performed with the likes of Jimmy Cobb, Melvin Sparks, George Braith, and Ben Dixon.
