Biography
Seeksoul was born on September 20, 1987 as Robert P. Holub in the Suburbs of Chicago. At an early age, his interest in music transformed into an energy to craft and create his own unique styles of music. Taking early influence from UK artists such as Orbital, Underworld and Aphex Twin, Seeksoul's sound took a varied and wandering path until eventually he discovered his affluence with House music in late 2006. Taking new influence from other European House artists, such as the Timewriter, Ian Pooley and St. Germain, from that time forward Seeksoul has been a project to deliver an authentic, rich, driving Deep and Retro House style that reflects his soothing and laid back personality. Although you may come to find Seeksoul working on anything from Drum and Bass to more abstract efforts reminiscent of his earlier days, his House music is an ongoing effort that he will continue to develop as time goes forward. Seeksoul has an upcoming House album, "Momentary Distractions," which is slated to be released at the tail end of 2010.
