Zane Steckler, known professionally as Sematary, is a horrorcore and trap artist from California, United States. He is also known by the aliases DJ Sorrow and Sematary Grave Man.
Sematary began his music career in 2019 by forming the Haunted Mound collective alongside fellow artist Ghost Mountain. That same year, they released their debut mixtape "Grave House" in August. In November, Sematary released his first solo album, "Rainbow Bridge", which helped him gain traction on platforms such as SoundCloud and Tumblr.
He continued collaborating with Ghost Mountain, releasing two joint projects: "Grave House" and "Hundred Acre Wrist Hosted by DJ Sorrow". He also followed up his debut album with two solo sequels, "Rainbow Bridge 2" and "Rainbow Bridge 3", the latter receiving positive reviews from critics.
In late 2021, he released his fourth mixtape, "Screaming Forest", which featured contributions from Haunted Mound members Buckshot and Hackle.
On January 13, 2023, Sematary released the mixtape "Butcher House", which included features from Buckshot, Hackle, Turnabout, and cloud rap artist Black Kray, also known as Sickboyrari.
In September 2023, he released the EP "King of the Graveyard", his second EP following "Warboy" (2020). This release featured frequent use of black metal-inspired instrumentals, a stylistic choice common in his earlier work.
Sematary’s most recent mixtape, "Bloody Angel", was released on March 29, 2024. The project includes features from Haunted Mound members Hackle and Buckshot, as well as Wicca Phase Springs Eternal of GothBoiClique and Lil Flash of Glo Gang.
