There have been at least two different bands named Serendipity.

1. Serendipity was a late 1960s British psychedelic rock band, from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, United Kingdom, comprised of Ian Bellamy (vocals), Billy Lane (guitar), Gordon Shaw (bass), Tim Huckstepp (drums), Graham Waller (organ), Pat O'Nion (keyboards). They were initially named Abject Blues.

2. Serendipity was also a one-off rock ensemble from Leicester, United Kingdom, briefly active in 1981. Created in response to raise money for the ‘Menphys’ charity organisation, members from various outfits joined together to perform. Members were: Sid & Kelv from Companionable Ills, Dave Brown of The Attitude fame, Steve Hutchinson on keyboards and Chris Owen on guitar and vocals.

There appear to be more acts called Serendipity, from Australia (2008 and onwards), Italy and in the house/techno genre. Feel free to add information for these artists.
