I'm a beginner when it comes to classical music, but so far his Symphony No. 2 is my absolute favorite. That first movement is so dramatic and monumental <3

I'm not against using Roman alphabet at LastFM for foreign artists, but why change the transcribtion from the original language? We, for example, write "Schumann" the same way it would have been written in German, but we write "RachmaninOFF" when in Russian it is simply "RachmaninOV" (Рахманинов). Where on Earth did these crazy double FFs come from?? :\

On the topic of artists, I really wish they could combine all the pages, and just offer the display variations in the UI... Doesn't have to be for every artist, but would really help with obvious cases like this.

I disagree that the Cyrillic version would be "correct." I used to use it, too, but then I realized what I'd do with a Chinese or Japanese artist - I simply cannot read those hieroglyphs, so what can I do? It's better to use the Roman alphabet for myself. Anyway, I'm happy that I can read Cyrillic, so it won't be a big problem for me, but I don't think I'll ever use the Cyrillic version for myself.

Of course, anybody can use any alphabet. For example, I can not read Cyrillic so I use the Roman alphabet for Russian artists. This message is a reminder for the Last.fm staff to merge the Roman alphabet and the Japanese syllables to the Cyrillic alphabet names together, so all the scrobbles in the world will be counted as one.
