Sgt Slick is a DJ in Melbourne, Australia, also known as Andy J.
Sgt Slick's track "White Treble, Black Bass" topped club charts in Australia and Europe, eventually netting him an ARIA award for Best Dance Release in 1998. His next single, "Let It Ride" repeated that success, with another ARIA nomination and chart and radio success in 2001.
He has had some success on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart, peaking at #69 with "Black Treble, White Bass" in 1997, at #95 with "Let It Ride"/"Forever Disco" in 2001, and only recently, at #69 again with his latest single "Back on Black" in June 2010.
