Biography
Shannon Rae Bex (b. March 22, 1980) is an American member of the musical group Danity Kane.
The group was founded by P. Diddy through the MTV reality television series Making the Band 3. Danity Kane's album debuted at #1 on August 22, 2006.
Bex was born in Bend, Oregon, and started dancing at the age of 3. She attended Mountain View High School. In school, Bex was involved in drama, dance team, and choir. At 19, the Oregon native learned a great deal about performing with a group when she was a Portland Trail Blazers cheerleader. She is the only married member of Danity Kane. Her husband's name is Ron Basada, and he is also a dancer. Bex danced and sang for 5 seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. Being the oldest member of the group, she is sometimes referred as "the mother of the group". As of 2007, she is learning to speak French.
