Biography
There are two bands called Shibby.
1. A punk/rock band from Sweden:
Shibby is a band from Scania, Sweden consisting of four band members:
Morris Ljunggren (Vocals, Guitar)
Johan Lilja (Bass, Vocals)
Fredrik Käck (Drums)
Daniel Graete (Guitar)
Shibby is a Swedish skate/pop-punk band consisting of four members. They are heavily inspired by the American pie movies, the American west coast and of course, Blink 182.
Morris Ljunggren and Fredrik Käck started to play in Käck’s sauna during the summer '09 and back then they played nothing but Blink-182 covers. But then all of a sudden Johan Lilja joined the band. They decided to start writing their own music, and they did.
They also realised that they needed one more guitarist to get the sound they wanted. Luckily, they met Daniel Graete at a concert in their hometown. He was perfect match, and now the Shibby line-up was complete!
They have not released anything yet but the dream is still heavily within the four boys.
2. A British pop-punk band from Kent:
Shibby were a British pop-punk band who toured with Elliot Minor in 2007 all over the UK. They got rave reviews from their debut EP, 'Blurring The Edges' and were nominated in the Kerrang Awards Best Live Act catagory. Matt Verrell has started a brand new band called Third Place Victory, myspace.com/thirdplacevictory.
