Biography
Shirley Yuen Fung Ying , November 1, 1965- ), a female singer from the 1990s in Hong Kong . She participated in the " Future Idol War " hosted by Asia Television Hong Kong in 1988 and was awarded the "Most Outstanding Typhoon Award". She has also participated in rookie singing contests. In the years from 1990-1995, She became famous for the song "If the Love Comes " (Tian Ruo You Qing) from the film A Moment of Romance and was nominated for the Best Original Film Song at the 10th Hong Kong Film Awards . She released several albums, but decided to retire in 1998; opening a singing school Love Peace Music Performing Arts Center in Tsim Sha Tsui at her own expense. Since then she has moved to teaching singing at a Hong Kong Urban Council Cultural Centre. At present, she is currently a director of the Hong Kong Singers Association and a mentor of the Hong Kong Moral and Performing Arts Education Centre.
