Biography
SiOP was created in 1999, officially formed in the summer of 2001 and on the rise ever since. They are an intense, multi-racial, multi-gender, high enery live band with many different styles combined in to one. Displaying unique vocals with in your face lyrics, raging guitars and a pumping bass complimented by a strong, solid with a groove style back beat. SiOP's debut single, "Beside Myself," is currently receiving numersous spins on Active Radio Playlists including KHST in Pittsburgh, Kansas, KXGE in Dubuque, IA with more promising stations to come. They recently have been battled against Linkin Park and Revis on Z-98 in Sioux City, IA and won. Their other debut singles, "Glass House" and "Two Faced," are receiving numerous spins on specialty radio including 98 KUPD's Red Radio Underground in AZ, KXTE X-Treme in Vegas, 93 KTCL in Colorado, WBER in Penfield, NY, WKGB in Dunmore, PA, WAITT in Omaha, WXSR in Tallahassee, WARQ in Columbia, SC,104.6 in Germany 103.9 The Edge in AZ, WKRL in NY, 93X in Minnesota, 91X in San Diego, and 92.9 KRWN in Famington, NM to name a few.
SiOP has had the opportunity to share the stage with National Acts including Papa Roach, Taproot, Static-X, Lo-Pro, Slaves on Dope, Soulfly, Insolence, Northside Kings, Mower, Gilby Clarke, Sacred Reich, Missing Persons, Kicking Harold, Thieves In The Tempe, and the 5100 Nokia X-Treme Sports and Music Core Tour. They are currently working with major promotion companies to secure more National shows in the near future.
They have had phoenominal reviews with many different websites, magazines and newspapers. Some include Garage Radio, Planetshine.com, ModernRock.com, CollectiveUnderground.com, AZ Undergournd Magazine, and The Rep to name a few. They recently had the opportunity to meet Lajan and Morgan of Sevendust and received much praise for their debut album, "It Starts With One."
SiOP will be receiving endorsements in the near future and have been choosen to submitt their music to an agency in NYC who will be placing them on Soundtracks for major TV shows and Motion Pictures.
SiOP has toured from NY to LA, NM and early next year they will be launching out to various states on the West Coast and beyond.
They are legally represented by the one of the biggest music attorney's in the industry who will be securing the group a record contract in the near future.
SiOP is currently working with ASS-9 Records for their distribution
