Silente is a pop-rock band from Dubrovnik, which appeared on the Croatian music scene in 2012. In the earlier years the band was known as 'Silent' (2006-2012). Since 2013, they had been performing as (chronologically): Sanin Karamehmedović (bass guitar, author of lyrics), Tibor Karamehmedović (guitar, vocals, author of music), Lorena Milina (violin, vocals), Ivuša Gojan (drums), Doris Kosović (vocals), Šimun Končić (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Lara Viktorija Ilić (vocals).
Their first major encounter with a large audience happened on 12. december 2013., after the release of their first video for the song 'Terca Na Tišinu'. The second encounter was on 28. may 2013. with a video for the song 'Još Jednom'. The third, and the biggest was with release of their first album 'Lovac Na Čudesa' on 28. october 2013. Their second album 'Neće rijeka zrakom teći' was released in 2015. They disbanded in 2016. In 2018. they released a third album, "Malo magle, malo mjesečine".
In june 2020. they released a new single and announced their comeback.
Just after releasing their latest album, IV (2022.), in April 2023., the band announced Doris Kosović's leaving to pursue a solo career. The new female vocalist and band member, Lara Viktorija Ilić, was introduced with a ballad "Sve što treba znat o ženi" in may 2023.
