Silke Mastbooms (1994) is a Flemish singer. She received national prominence in 2012 when she took second place in the final of the first edition of the talent show The Voice of Flanders. She lives in Deurne. Mastbooms wrote in 2011 as candidate for the The Voice of Flanders. She was dissuaded by Natalia in 2012 and pushed through to the final of the talent show, she did not win after they lost the finals of Glenn Claes by 48% against 52%. Mastbooms has Asian roots, her mother came at a young age from Korea to Belgium as an adopted child. Silke bumped into the semifinals of the The Voice of Flanders to the finals, which entitled her to cast a single. Her single "Awake" came on March 17, 2012 inside the Ultratop 50 in third place, the highest place of the four finalists, the singles from the other three finalists, respectively in the fourth, ninth and twentieth.
