Biography
After moving to Paris in 2018, Minó hastily started working on his own songs due to his relocation from his hometown of Malmö and his band RA. This solo venture took a more defined shape with the encounter of french synth-wave artist / producer Sydney Valette who recorded and mixed his upcoming debut album.
Sonically Minó’s music is clearly finding its own place amongst the contemporary Scandinavian electronic scene. Laying out melancholic landscapes with spellbinding melodies, framed by solid and throbbing beats, the whole instrumental being adorned by deep and nostalgic vocals.
Simon's work is multidisciplinary and includes sound design, video installations and music videos that he explored attending art schools in both Malmö and Stockholm. His music is inspired by a wide variety of film and visual art and moves soundwise between synth-wave and post-punk. His debut album Alma / Flora is out now!
