Biography
Sistema de Mentiras is a brazilian band, from Rio Grande do Sul, based in the city Campo Bom, playing furious hardcore mixed with metal. Since 2003, the band have been fighting and playing in the brazilian underground. Many changes in the line-up during this time had happened, but the actual line-up is: Alexandre (vocal/guitar), Omas (bass) and Max (drums). This line-up have just recorded their very first EP, called Utopia Social (2008), which have 5 songs and an intro. The lyrics are mainly about politics and the society, trying to give the real image of the brazilian reality to the people. Sistema de Mentiras proves that the Hardcore roots is still alive, even living in a country full of alienation and reality's distorted vision.
