Biography
Slightly Singed is an improvisational acoustic comedic band from Kettering Ohio. Their songs mix acoustic jam guitar and lyrics about eye hurt to form a unique sound that warns about the hurt. Songs are primarily recorded impromptu and feature eclectic acoustic riffs from David "The Trashman Yeizer" Studebaker, generally following a classical or folk rock sound, although unafraid to venture into any genre imaginable. Vocal leads are taken from Alex "Dr. Overice" Bachmann, and backup vocals feature all conversation and backup singing from friends, accomplices, guest vocals, and sometimes even television and radio samples. Percussion usage, keyboard and drum machine usage is sporadic, although have been featured and usually is provided by Bachmann or guest performers.
