Punk isn’t punk if it’s only meant to talk about getting drunk, kissing, cuddling and other empty and easy to swallow crap. Punk isn’t about gathering fashion kids equipped with the latest pair of vans and wearing from head to toe a skull patterned uniform. Punk isn’t a sentimental-weeping talk show for perfumed and motionless pseudo-intellectuals. Punk isn’t the soundtrack for the frustrated jerks who didn’t pass karate’s yellow belt to discharge their violence in the moshpit. Punk is intervention music. Punk is combat attitude. Punk is an hymn of union for the youth and a war cry to capitalism. .. Sobressatos were born in the summer of 2006 with an objective and an ideal: To bring the hammer and the sickle to the mosh. To rise in the punk scene, the struggle for a fairer world, free from wars and liberated from starvation. To raise again at the gigs the banners of a new society with no explorer or exploited, of men and women equal in opportunities. To amplify the decibels of class struggle until we explode the eardrums of our oppressors. .. .. Enough of amorphous punk! Enough of easy sound produced in series. Enough of empty lyrics! Sobressaltos walk the streets and punk is getting redder! .. We’re communists. We’re antifascists. We’re revolutionaries. We’re punk. .. Revolution's gonna be fast. Our punk already is. .
