Socks;SportsSocks are an 'indie ambient punk' (and perhaps pop) band from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. They released a number of singles and a 6-song EP entitled People Singing About People., a title that really sums it all up, doesn't it.
The band popped up in 2020, releasing a string of tunes about the "irony of human existence when you're in your twenties." Well, who knows. As for the music: the Socks' songs have drawn some comparisons to works by, for example, Mac DeMarco and dEUS. Again, who knows. One thing's for sure: their second EP is called More songs about phones & happiness. (2023).
