Biography
Sodsai Chaengkij was from Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit, which most people know simply as Bangkok, Thailand.
The cute Sodsai Chaengkij had a prolific record output during the 60s and was the most popular singer in Bangkok where she frequently appeared at the famous Lolita Night Club on Rajdamnoen Avenue.

Just an update: Sodsai is alive and well living in the USA. She just turned 68 in August but is still slim and in great health. Sodsai stopped singing in 2003 and moved to Los Angeles, but now lives near Seattle. Her 28 year old son was born in California, and was critically injured in a car accident in 2001. He is still quadriplegic but slowly recovering.
I'll try positng a few pictures. Unfortunately I don't have any of her music. The three songs that are on last.fm are probably her worst recordings. Done in 1968 the equipment and band were definitely a problem.
