Biography
Solypsis is the primary alias used by rhythmic noise producer James Miller since 1998. Eschewing proper recording techniques, rebuking the use of quality hardware and showing a general disdain for learning how to use software, Solypsis somehow managed to appear on dozens of labels and irritate audiences while touring worldwide. Layering tinnitus-inducing feedback onto blown-speaker beats, he has churned out well over 1000 songs.
In 2006 Solypsis founded the Digital Vomit label after abandoning the short-lived Couch Fort Records.
In 2010 Solypsis toured Japan and the U.S.
