Something About Horses is an experimental rock band based in Boston, MA. Forging together experimental traditions from classical, rock, metal, jazz, and pop the Boston based sextet’s music takes the listener through an uncomfortable yet pleasing sequence of emotions; happiness turns to horror, humor turns to beauty, aggression turns to bittersweet and everything in between.Their debut EP “Silent Reading” is available on Bandcamp, CD, and Cassette and features guest appearances by Carla Kihlstedt and Matthias Bossi; once members of the infamous “Sleepytime Gorilla Museum.” The EP contains 8 tracks of handcrafted, pasture-raised songs that range from beautiful epics to disturbing thrashings. Prepare to be frightened and fall in love at the same time.
