One of the rare tracks in the Sonic Yoth discography in which I prefer the vocal part than the instrumental

This one sure got the early Stooges-vibes, the slow psychedelic ones like We Will Fall and/or Dirt.

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix, angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night... (2)

Certainly one of their best, and certainly their best song title. I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix, angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night... so yeah, I just felt like repeating myself a bit.

Some n00b misspelled his name as "Alan" when they tagged the copy I dl'ed. Shouting so I remember to rectify this.

Fantastic track, fantastic title. I recommend reading Ginsberg's "Howl" while listening to this.

No way is it one of their weakest, exactly the opposite is the case! They've done a lot worse with drawn-out bits than this song, that's for sure.
