Puteraeon, The Grotesquery, Revel In Flesh.. all of them have dissapointed me with their last productions; That's why I was hoping for something special from Sorcery. Unfortunately, next dissapointment. Ok, I like this crunchy guitar tone, vocals are good enough, bass - ok. But on the other hand, riffs are very boring, and in my opinion - good riffs are essential in osdm. Want something interesting? Try Dissecdead or Coffincraft.

If you aren't a fan of any of their newer stuff, I still suggest catching them whenever they come around during a tour, or the current US tour, because their set blew me away. These guys still got it.

How does one go about adding Rocktober Blood to their albums? It needs to be done!

Swedish death metal Sorcery was brilliant. Too bad they never got the recognition they deserved. They should be hailed alongside Nihilist/Entombed and Carnage/Dismember as the gods of Swedish death metal, but alas. Recording only one album before you split up will do that to a band, I suppose.

Both Sorcery from USA and Sweden are good. But i think the american proto metal/hard rock band deserves more recognition som great early metal.

Even then, there was another band with the name of Sorcery in the US that put out their debut album in 1976.

The original Band named "SORCERY" was from So.California back in 1978. They appeared in the "Stuntrock" movie & did the soundtrack LP. They were the only band named Sorcery to have signed with a major label. IE: Polygram Records. They also did other albums,T.V. appearences, movie soundtracks and Dick Clark shows. Search them out on "Youtube" and "Myspace" for more info on this great group!
