Biography
Sparda is a Metal band formed in Tehran, Iran,in 2006.the term SPARDA represents the maker of good & bad; white & black; etc.
The current line-up features Mehdi Hossein poor(Composer/Guitars ),Hamed Mostofi (Vocals/ lyrics) .
Obviously, because of the wide range of the music the band members listen to, their first album included various genres like Doom and Atmospheric and even death metal.
since metal music is illegal in Iran and has been known as a satanic act, the band members decided to start a side-project persian rock band, named Black & White, with lighter music. so that they could have some performances to help them to be known..
Through all these years, Sparda have gained a lot of experiences, which helped them to form their own music. Despite all the problems metal bands face in Iran, Sparda is still active and the band continues their work on the second album with a different style.
