Biography
Sparkwood is an Austin-based power pop ensemble. Centered around the songwriting of vocalist/keyboardist Bart Padar, the band crafts elegant and dynamic musical arrangements ornamented by lush vocal harmonies. In addition to Padar, Sparkwood features the exceptional talents of guitarist/vocalist Mark Doroba, drummer Mike Reynolds, and bassist/vocalist Jonathan Nesvadba. Critics around the globe have compared Sparkwood's cheerful chiming to musical luminaries such as Jellyfish, Queen, Cheap Trick and Fountains of Wayne. Sparkwood recently completed their latest incandescent long player called "Kaleidoscopism". Released in Japan on April 26, 2007, the eclectic collection contains 4 bonus tracks that are exclusive to the japanese version.
