Spirit Lies Broken was a 5-piece metalcore band from Parshall, ND, active from Jan 2003 to Feb 2005.
"Formed in January, 2003 out of the ashes of Crimes of the Conspiracy and EightyHD, Spirit Lies Broken took their influences and ran. Mixing everything from bands they love including Darkest Hour, old Poison The Well, Shai Hulud, Orchid, and others, Spirit Lies Broken burst on to the local ND scene with a version of hardcore their own. Each song packed a punch and ripped hearts from chests with the bands mix of fast hardcore/punk and metalcore. Not one second have they let up, even with a lead singer change in March of 2004. Spirit Lies Broken is currenlty in the process of recording an EP due out this summer. Also a two week August tour with Spirit Lies Broken's friends, Law Of All Ends, is currently being booked."
