Splitsing is a popgroup which sang in the Dutch language. The Group was formed in the city Groningen in the year 1982. The leadsinger was Peter Groot Kormelink. Splitsing scored it's biggest succes in the year 1985 with the summerhit 'Wind en Zeilen' . The group had another hitsingle with 'Recht uit het Hart' which didn't make it to the Dutch hitparade but stuck in the tipparade. The band splitted in 1988 Two Members of Splitsing later formed Jazzpolitie which scored a number of great hits in The Netherlands.
