Born and raised in Montreal, forged a career in New York and now residing in London with her family, Stacey Jackson has always embraced diversity and challenge in her life. Stacey began her career in New York where she put her Bachelors in Arts and Communications to good use working for CBS News and Lifetime Television as a Senior Publicist and Awards Coordinator. Stacey soon went on to open her own PR firm where she worked with A-list celebrities and also successfully launched a variety of television networks, including the Independent Film Channel, as well as legendary shows such as Inside the Actors Studio.
Simultaneous to being a PR maven in New York, Stacey also toured numerous venues in the city with her Motown band Fuzzy Dice. A part-time performer for 25 years and a full-time mum of four, Stacey thought her dreams of becoming a pop star would never come true until she moved to London and a track she recorded for the UK-based charity Music For Youth was remixed into a dance track. Catapulted into the Top 10 between Lady Gaga and the Scissor Sisters and with acclaimed producers knocking at her door, Stacey knew that her next career move was to turn part-time rock chick into full-time pop star. Stacey currently has six Top 10 dance records under her belt, including a collaboration with iconic artist Snoop Dogg on her self-penned record “Live It Up”.
Stacey’s music instantly found its home on the UK club scene as well as within gyms up and down the country where her up-tempo beats and punchy vocals were a hit with dancers and gym-rats alike. An avid fitness fan and trained instructor herself, Stacey has recently been working towards the launch of her first sportswear line Stae-Fit. The fitness range was created around a specific, patent-pending sports top with a built-in bra to help tackle some of the core issues Stacey has personally faced over years of working out. Her initial research told her that she wasn’t the only one suffering with this, and she has since travelled around the globe to oversee every step in the process of bringing her fitness range into fruition.
