STADE is a huge artistic concept based on the Duo of Pierre Autétat (piano-samplers) and Christophe Calpini (drums-sampler). This international wide project makes a brand new electroacoustical sythesis which mixes jazz diversity, electronics efficiency and the straight energy of hip-hop music. During 3 years, STADE works on the assumption of extensible forms, wich enable the group to integrate the works and talents of 15 guest-stars : Erik Truffaz (FR ; tr), Elliott Sharp (NY ; gu, sx), Nils Petter Molvaer (NG ; tr), Grégoire Maret (NY ; ar), Wayne Paul (UK ; vocals ), Nya (CH ; vocals), Pascal Auberson (CH ; vocals, perc), Dj Sensay (CH, pl), Pierre-Yves Borgeaud (CH, visuals ; 1st price Locarno 03), Yodoc (CH; miniaturised zeplins with infra-red cams..), Lumen (CH ; fire uses). At the end, not less than five discs will be produced. This abnormal radical composit is one of the very rare group to be able to perform live electronics at the same time as acoustical music. The result is gorgius : its straight, heavy, powerfull and blasting.
