I've got 1,600 plays of them since '09. I've only seen them live once though, in a quaint venue in Brussels. It's hard to see smaller indie bands from North-America in Europe. I was a frequent Stars listener until their Five Ghosts album in 2010, then I got hooked on sister band Broken Social Scene. I should revisit 'em. My favorite Stars song will always be "Changes".

It's not their best, but it is good. The only flaw was that first song, "Dead Hearts," which is a little cringe. Otherwise, a solid set of songs.

Well, they're always hyperemotional so sometimes they go over the edge, I know what you mean about Dead Hearts. I do love the two songs after that in the tracklist though, Wasted Daylight and I Died So I Could Haunt You, very catchy and Amy's vocals are on point.

Craziest part is that most of their best songs aren't even on the most played list.

Agreed! This last one is really starting to grow on me. No One Is Lost has become my favorite just ahead of Set Yourself On Fire. I would put There Is No Love at #3.

This band is so sorely underrated. Been listening since 2010 and I still love them.

No Love Under Fluorescent Light is under rated! Great album with some strong songs. Same with "No One Is Lost"

How am I only finding this band now? This is awesome. It gives me lo-fi feeling of Grandaddy and Grizzly Bear, mixed with Metric and Destroyer <3

"No One Is Lost" is no dud for me. My favourite after "Set Yourself On Fire". This last one sounds pretty good also, after a few listens.

The North has some of their best songs, including the title track, The 400, Backlines, and A Song Is a Weapon.

I can't believe No One Is Lost isn't in the top charts. That album totally redefined why I love Stars.

A few months have gone by and I expected my buzz for No One Is Lost would subside, but it hasn't. I cannot stop listening to this album. It seriously might be their best work yet. I don't know if this band will ever stop being great.

I agree! I got it thinking, "huh, I haven't heard any good Stars in a while, maybe this will do the trick." It may not be the same reason I loved Stars in college, but it gave me a reason to love Stars even more beyond my early 20's!

I got to photograph them both Stars and Hey Rosetta! on their second sold out night at The Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. Pics of Stars: http://www.oneintenwords.com/2015/02/stars-at-danforth-music-hall.html and Pics of Hey Rosetta! http://www.oneintenwords.com/2015/02/hey-rosetta-at-danforth-music-hall.html and

Used to be a huge fan, but I've gone a while without listening to Stars. Now I'm listening again and I realize how insanely beautiful their music can be sometimes.

historically love every one of these guys releases but no one is lost is my least favorite. not a bad record, just seems like white noise amongst that discography

My favorite thing about the new album is the lyrics. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the music much over time, but the lyrics make me love every single song, just as I should! Stars never fails to impress me!
