Biography
There are three artists using the name Statik.
1) Statik is the 14 year old producer from west yorkshire best known for his mixtape 'Empire'
2) Statik is the writer, and sound producer of the electro-goth band Collide founded in 1992 and of The Secret Garden, both groups on Noiseplus Records. He has performed with artists such as Cevin Key of Skinny Puppy; William Faith of The Pirate Twins, Faith and the Muse, Christian Death, Mephisto Walz, Sex Gang Children, Shadow Project, and Wreckage; Monica Richards of Faith and the Muse, Madhouse, and Strange Boutique; the infamous Tim Pierce; Danny Carey of Tool, Green Jellÿ, and Pigmy Love Circus; and Dean Garcia of Curve, Eurythmics, and SPC ECO.
2) A North London-based grime artist and producer best known for his mixtape 'Statik Presents Grindie Vol 1', mixing grime and indie to create grindie with remixes of such artists as Bloc Party, Babyshambles, Larrikin Love and Test Icicles. He is currently working on a new album entitled 'Broadband'.
