This ain't your daddy's country music. Steeltown is absolutely the Hottest Country Rock Band in Pittsburgh.
This smokin' band was forged where the smoky steel mills of Pittsburgh's yesterday built our country, and country is what the band plays. Big time lead vocals, thick backing vocals, searing guitar work, and a super-tight back-beat lay down a country rock groove that you can't help dancing to.
Steeltown is composed of multi-talented group of Pittsburgh born-and-bread musicians with years of experience between them. Just like Pittsburgh's sports teams, this band is a winner and knows what it takes to get a crowd on the feet. Steeltown members include front-men Matt Kessler and Tim Brannon with John McBride on guitar, Gary Latkowski on bass, Mark O'Donnell on keyboards and Tom McDonald on drums.
Steeltown has a number of original music tunes that blend country and rock. One of the songs was produced into a music video to benefit families that have lost loves ones fighting for our country. The song/video is called "I'll Be Home Soon".
