Kicking off his love affair with all things house music 10 years ago, STEVE PLAY forged his reputation by continually pushing musical boundaries and consistently delivering a cocktail of melodic vocals, spirit capturing rhythm & a traditional house feeling.
Now praised by both punters & peers as one of Sydney’s best, STEVE PLAY continues to impress and secure performances at Australia’s most successful venues, events & parties.
Topping the charts in Australia’s ITM Top50 DJ poll has also ensured that STEVE PLAY’s hard work in the dance music community has not gone unnoticed, and being recognized as one of Australia’s best DJ’s has allowed for STEVE to secure a successful international profile & has led to numerous International appearances and guest spots.
A highlight of STEVE PLAY’s international career was being hand picked in 2008 to support the infamous Swedish House Mafia (Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso), who are often referred to together as the world’s best house music producers/DJ’s. STEVE PLAY has also had the opportunity to perform alongside many other successful international artists, including: THOMAS GOLD, D.O.N.S, NORMAN DORAY, ARNO COST, CRISTIAN MARCHI, EDDIE THOENICK & more.
With a high profile residency in LA (Hollywood), a demanding local schedule & an appearance planned at the Miami Winter Music Conference (WMC), there is no slowing down for STEVE PLAY in 2010/11 who will couple local & international club gigs with extensive studio time….
