Biography
Steve-D is a production alias used by Stefan Dekker (aka Dr. Peacock) with which he will mainly focus on early rave and underground melodic hardcore from the past.
The alias Steve-D originated since Dekker was just a 12-year-old kid, playing Rave, Industrial, Terror, and Speedcore. In 2008 the passionate DJ/producer became the prominent Dr. Peacock. However, over the years his passion for Early Hardcore remained and Steve decided this reincarnated alter ego is purely, proudly and exclusively established for this passion filled project.
From Hellbound to the Defqon.1 GOLD, Steve-D performed at the biggest Early Hardcore stages in no time. With his energetic performance accompanied by his love for Early Hardcore, Steve gets the whole crowd go wild at iconic classics from his early days. At Multigroove (2021) Steve-D played an extraordinary early rave set under his oldest name.
