Steven Hess resides in Chicago where he plays drums and percussion currently with Haptic, On, Pan•American, Dropp Ensemble and Fessenden.
He can be heard on recordings released by Type Records, Entr'acte, Crouton Records, either/OAR, Longbox Recordings, FSS, Carpark Records, Mosz, Tonschacht, Kranky, Thrill Jockey, Stasisfield, and Utech to made a few.
Has performed throughout the North America, Europe and Japan.
