Biography
Steven West has been involved in the Canadian Music scene for many years. From garage bands in the 80's, to flourishing compositional and production work through the 90's. Electronic music is where West shines best. And having released his first 'solo' CD in 2000 entitled 'Electricky', he has definitely 'found his sound' of conceptual music and CDs that take listeners on a journey from first track to last.
A pure 'track journey' is West's 2002 CD release entitled 'Metalurge'. And a real 'space trip' can be had with Steven West's quick following release 'Analogistic' in 2003. As of 2008, the long awaited 'Geopoliticking' CD was released exclusively to Humble Voice. Best described as 'experimental pop mixed with commercial radicalism'. Woven into a chilling journey of political, economical, and moral evolution (or lack thereof?) Always daring, never compromising, Steven West delivers.
